Nautilus

The Nautilus: Coastal haven blending dance, woodworking, and canine play, immersed in nature's evolving embrace.

The Nautilus, nestled along the shores of Zorrotzaure island, emerges as a unique dwelling tailored for its eclectic inhabitants: a dancer, a woodcrafting engineer, and their two canine companions. This multi-level residence seamlessly integrates with the evolving forest, harmonizing the distinct needs of each occupant.

The highest level, oriented towards the expanding forest, hosts public functions, including a workshop for the woodworker that can extend into the natural surroundings. The intermediate level houses semi-private spaces, such as the kitchen and lounge, while also accommodating guest bedrooms. The lowest level, submerged beneath the waves, unveils an expansive studio for the dancer. Performing to a silent audience of aquatic life, the room's ambient light flickers through the water-filtered window, creating a mesmerizing underwater spectacle.

The curved roof mimics and gently disperses waves, allowing the dogs to play amidst organic contours that seamlessly blend with the natural landscape. The Nautilus is not merely a residence; it's a choreography of design, purpose, and symbiosis with the evolving forest and coastal environment.
